Steve bought his first video system in 1979, while stationed in Europe with the army as a captain. After making extensive videos for 20 years, he went pro in 1999. His extremely diversified background makes him well adapted for any shoot. He has a degree in Zoology from the Univ. of Arkansas, where he accepted a commission in the army. He's a certified skydiver, private pilot, and has flown both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. His military specialty was transportaion, with a secondary in public affairs. It was as a PA officer, he was tapped by general staff for many of his artistic abilities. He formed a Bluegrass band for the Armed Forces Entertainment Division in Europe, and was a special entertainer for the Army Training and Doctrine Command, in Virginia, where he was proclaimed Entertainer of the Year in 1984 and 1985. Steve is also a published poet, award winning artist, published composer and musician. He has worked for a 4 radio station company as a DJ, News Director and salesman since 1986. He has also run Long's E-Z-GO Golf Carts since 1985, and Long's Grocery since 2008.

Steve has been a choir director since 1978, and assumed director duties at Beckwith United Methodist Church in 1985. As Vacation Bible School Director, he has written 8 original programs, which Sea To Net Productions produced. The church has raised $4,000 in donations for Habitat For Humanity in the last three years. He also produced and filmed an historical documentary on the church, which won 2 Telly Awards and a Communicator's Award.

As a long time church Lay Leader, he is sensitive to families' spiritual needs, and has produced touching memorials, shown during special services and viewings. In addition to videography, Steve utilizes Adobe After Effects to create animated logos, in Flash and many other formats. He also utilizes a greenscreen for the use of Virtual Sets, and music videos.

At Sea To Net, we use the Canon GL2, and edit with the Adobe Creative Production Premium Suite. We use Sennheiser lavalier and hand held microphones for superior audio.
